About GGP
We started off making videos for local cities and towns working with Spencer Cable Access. Over the past few years, we've produced about 50 shows, starting our first "series" - Bloomin' With The Bemis' - a home gardening show featuring Ed and Tina Bemis of Bemis Farms Nursery.
Shortly after that successful beginnin, we took on a cooking show called Thyme In The Kitchen. Lee is both producer and one of the chef-stars of this show. (This leaves Casey to do all the background stuff: video, editing, and so on.)
After becoming quite comfortable with this work, we branched out. Our projects included doing lighting and cinematography on a movie short, and some independent documentary pieces. GGP also has done some commercial work.
Shorts and Documentaries
We Three Kings
We have had incredible pleasure in helping make We Three Kings, a movie short by Paul C. McKinney who wrote, produced, and directed. Paul is a film actor who has been involved in several indie projects including Freedom Park, Still Green, and his own We Three Kings.
Paul approached us to both offer his help with some of our own productions (he hails from the same town as we do and wanted to support cable access). He also asked us to work with him on his first movie which was completed in 2008. We Three Kings is a story about three struggling actors who learn that, despite their own hardships, they still have the ability to do good things and help others. The movie was shot at the Auburn Mall in Massachusetts and various locations in the Worcester-Spencer area.
Documentaries
Some of our documentaries include:
- Behind The Lens - a program about the passions that drive four different photographers
- Underwater Photography - (not yet released) interviews with two underwater photographers
- Firefighter Training - a public service piece to encourage people to consider joining their local firefighting departments
